One is kind of a fantasy/sci-fi hybrid, taking place in futuristic Ireland. It uses a lot of faery lore and involves the whole 'attempt at world domination' plot. If it ever gets done, it'll be my epic novel. I had a couple of chapters done at one point, but I've totally changed the direction I was going to go with it. One major plot difference is that the woman at the beginning, who was originally the main character, will now end up becoming the mother of the main character... I hope she doesn't mind the slight lowering of her status
The other one was a more recent creation, though I think it's plot change is much more dramatic than the former. It follows an American Roma (gypsy) family and a Gadje (non-Roma) girl who befriends the oldest daughter. It'll end up being an adventure novel of sorts, with lots of story telling and the like. A lot of research has been going into this one, as I want to be as true to the Romani life as I possibly can. They've had enough discrimination and stereotyping in their history, and don't need some stupid (though well meaning) Gadji to make an ass of herself at their expense. I'm hoping to join a group of Roma on yahoo to keep this from happening... if they ever let me join. I have a feeling this story will be a lot of fun, but it might cause me some heartache along the way as well
As for Baby Dyke Speaks (since I've been getting a lot of comments on that recently), I'm sorry to say that it's on the back burner for now. It was getting too emo for me, way out of hand, and I was loosing sight of the plot. I'll probably come back to it one day, but I have no idea when.

For he comes, the human child,
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than he can understand.
Impossible to buy
One must make her,
slowly, carefully,
Following the recipe,
then say "SCREW IT!"
and slather her on the cake
of life
And eat her beauty
Bite

I'm trying not to laugh so hard, cuz I'm in the comp lab at school. One question.
You want to eat me?
